Columbia Foundation Announced Officers and New Board Members
Columbia, MD - July 12, 2010 -
The Board of The Columbia Foundation, Howard County's community foundation, has elected the following officers: 
Chair:  Mary Ann Scully, Howard Bank;
Vice Chair:  Karen Geary, Johns Hopkins University;
Secretary:  Dorothy Harris, Pal-Tech; and
Treasurer:  Brian Walter, M&T Bank.
 
Newly elected to the Board are: 
Rick A. Kohr, CPA, founding member and Chief Executive Officer of Evergreen Capital LLC;
Joe Maranto, Director for Business Development for Constellation Energy; and
Annie Wildasin, Marketing Manager at the Mall in Columbia.

 

 
Founded in 1969, the Foundation has awarded over $10 million in grants to Howard County nonprofit organizations delivering human service, arts and cultural, educational and civic programs.  Money for the grant programs comes primarily from income generated by the Foundation's endowment supported by over 250 funds established by Howard County businesses, families and individuals.  For more information on The Columbia Foundation, visit www.columbiafoundation.org or call 410-730-7840.
