The Columbia Foundation Hires Alison Dodge, Development & Marketing Officer

THE COLUMBIA FOUNDATION HIRES ALISON DODGE, DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING OFFICER 

The Columbia Foundation, Howard County’s community foundation, announces the hiring of Alison Dodge as Development and Marketing Officer. 
 
Ms. Dodge joined the Foundation on April 26 and will be responsible for developing relationships with new and existing donors and managing the Foundation’s marketing efforts.

Ms. Dodge, a native of Columbia, Maryland, was previously Director of Communications and Membership at Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations (MANO).  Prior to that, she worked at BoardSource, a national nonprofit that works to improve organizations by strengthening their boards of directors. 

 

 

Founded in 1969, the Foundation has awarded over $10 million in grants to Howard County nonprofit organizations delivering human service, arts and cultural, educational and civic programs.  Money for the grant programs comes primarily from income generated by the Foundation’s endowment supported by over 250 funds established by Howard County businesses, families and individuals.  For more information, visit www.columbiafoundation.org or call 410-730-7840.
