Admission Available On-Line for The Columbia Foundation's 27th Annual Spring Party
Columbia, MD - March 18, 2009 - The Columbia Foundation, Howard County’s community foundation, will host its 27th Annual Spring Party at The Spear Center in the General Growth Properties Building in Columbia, Maryland on Thursday, May 7 from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m. The event features a full buffet, raw bar and beverages from Clyde’s. All proceeds benefit Howard County non-profit human service, cultural, civic and educational organizations. Admission is $75. Guests have the option of adding $25 for a total of $100 to contribute $1.00 to each of 25 agency endowments established by non-profit organizations through The Columbia Foundation.

Founded in 1969, the Foundation has awarded over $10 million in grants to Howard County nonprofit organizations delivering human service, arts and cultural, educational and civic programs. Money for the grant programs comes primarily from income generated by the Foundation’s endowment supported by over 230 funds established by Howard County businesses, families and individuals.
