Columbia Foundation Hosts "Give to Greet" Event to Benefit Domestic Violence Center
Columbia, Maryland - June 25, 2007 -
The Columbia Foundation will host its next “twentyfivefortyfive” event on Wednesday, July 18 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Domestic Violence Center (DVC), 5457 Twin Knolls Road, Suite 310, Columbia. Dr. Sheela Reddy, Clinical Director for the DVC, will speak briefly and light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided. “twentyfivefortyfive” is The Columbia Foundation’s initiative to get the next generation of 25- to 45-year-olds in Howard County involved in philanthropy and community volunteering. It is led by a committee of community leaders co-chaired by Vice Chair of the Columbia Foundation Board of Trustees and Attorney Meg Moon, and Candace Dodson Reed, Associate Director of the Columbia Foundation.

Founded in 1969, the Foundation has awarded over $9 million in grants to Howard County nonprofit organizations delivering human service, arts and cultural, educational and civic programs.
