The Horizon Foundation

The Horizon Foundation considers grant applications in the areas of adolescent health and wellness, older adult health, community crisis and emergency response, and access to healthcare.

Howard County Arts Council

Howard County’s umbrella arts organization makes grants to local arts organizations, PTAs and regional cultural institutions.

Howard County Department of Citizen Services

The department makes grants to nonprofit organizations providing a human service activity in Howard County.

The Rouse Company Foundation

The Rouse Company Foundation views its role primarily as one of investing in a community in ways that will help sustain the best among Greater Baltimore and Howard County institutions that focus on human services, affordable housing and fine and performing arts, while at the same time nurturing and supporting promising new programs that address important community issues.

United Way of Central Maryland

The United Way funds human service organizations. However, it is not accepting grant applications from agencies not already receiving funding from the United Way until 2006.
